Pavel of JSB kindly sent me some 4.50 s to try and this is the first time able to get to the range to do a full test.
Both myself and Derick were very impressed as they grouped excellent out to 50 yards in both the MK4 and MPR, the surprising thing these wasn t even prepared at all just straight out of the tin.
We then tried out to 60 yards and only time we missed the 20mm spinner was when the wind picked up, and they definitely had the edge on the other size pellets and slightly out grouped my match 4.51.

Be interesting if Pete Dutton gets the same results as us today when he tests some, but I m very impressed.

    Pete

Another thing forgot to mention, tins are foamed out at the bottom and on the sides so less damage.

Reinventing the wheel probably same pellets labelled 4.5 as 4.51, 4.52 and 4.53 the only difference slowing down the machinery like old times. Never found any JSB made pellet that measures above 4.48 even though labelled 4.53.

It doesn't really matter what size they are though Jon, they work & that's all that matters, then again I've never found a JSB that doesn't group very well in my guns

I've had batches that just behave perfect from the tin.

If it's a new size, it might be like the others... a new pellet seems to always do well at the start without fiddling...
