Its just taken me 2 hours ....

    .. from start to finish to caustic soda and polish my scope for the next custom gun I am working on :D Turrets , mounts etc all had the same treatment but the scope still needs a final polish .

    I think I must have set a world record for scope stripping ( and the most banal thread on shooting the breeze ) :D

    I have also done a photo story board for all you who would like to see how its done ! :eek: You will have to wait a few days as my fingers are sore . :rolleyes:

    They just don't make scope finishes like they used to.:D Much more practice and you'll be able to perform drive by caustic soda finish stripping at HFT shoots.:eek::D

    The real test of your mettle would be how long it took to strip the finish off a Whitetail Classic, although removing that lovely finish is sacreligious and we (and by we, I mean me. Unless anyone else felt the same way:rolleyes:) would have to stone you to death.;)

    Looks excellent , shame it buggered the scope though :eek:

    I just keep dabbing over the same area with a small brush then wash off with a water soaked sponge although I try to keep away from any edges and/or seals .

    yer your not allowed to hide in those edges since you got found perving, and as for the poor seals , its your own fault you've been banned from every seal clad cost line in the uk sicko .............:eek:
