    Heres the scenario ...

Go to comp armed with chairgun aim points

Get to comp with an hour or so to start

    Can't zero my gun

Spitting pellets all over the place

    Chairgun aim points didn't work

Ten minutes to go , filled gun and re parallaxed my scope

Quickly scribble aim points on scrap paper , written in my best doctors handwriting

First target is next to the plinking range and is an easy 42 yard shot ...... I dink it

Go round the course ( which was excellent btw , well done Oakies ) and find that I dinked less than other shooters .

Smiled all the way round without a care in the world and shot a fairly respectable 53 !!!

Even that Steve Light throwing his bagged gun 10 yards into the nettles couldn't budge my girly smile . lol

Great course , great company , great weather even if I was a little unprepared

    atvb

    Dave

PS : Cheers Adam it was worth a try so very much appreciated .

Lol, forgot I launched my rifle :D
Don't know what happened today, back to the drawing board for next week, stick the med mounts back on & get back to my old aim points & back on the horse :)
I blame the lack of burger van for my pi55 poor performance I think ;)
At least Beth shot well & got her PB ...

This launching of guns sems to be catching on, does it improve accuracy or is it just a new form of relaxation:D:D:D Mind if I had an AirArms I'd be tempted to launch it into the nearest river.

Was going to use the MK4 but she started to spit pellets last night so I lost a bit of confidence & bought the MPR, I think the Daystate needed charging & she may need a barrel clean ;)
Just been out to the land & re-zerod with the old mounts :)

It never ceases to amaze me how cocky you Gaystate uses get since they introduced a built in brolly and boat to the rifles ........ the Grand Pricks even has its own paddles apparently . lol
