I have not attended any of the G.P.s this season, am taking a rest from the travelling !!

I keep up with all the news and reports etc.from the shoots, in particular I enjoy looking at the pictures posted on here, to see what I am missing !

Looking through the photographs from the latest GP - Wendover I noticed what would appear to be a suspect standing position. I have added a section (so as to NOT identify the shooter) of the photograph below. Can someone confirm that this is either legal or illegal please.

    HaHa, know who it is.

Ban him, certainly as he won a burger off me at Gp 4:D

Cant say anyone has comented on it before?
However, who is to say the photo is not of him sighting the target, as apposed to shooting it.

    video needed perhaps?

that does look a bit suspect ... and his finger is on the trigger so cant be a sighting shot ,but its down to the partners and marshals to sort this

i have seen a few pics of doggy postitionals this year ,

if i am shooting with someone who has a suspect position they shall be told

Does that also include me too Mike? As I am very short you have to make allowances on my positionals as its hard to tell when i`m kneeling or standing??:rolleyes:

i don't think it could possibly be considered "illegal" that would mean it's against the law .

    Me ?

The pic is of me . my bum bag does slip around now and again . but it is not high enough to gain any advantage from it . to do so it would have to be right under the elbow . much easier to put a glove in my top pocket if i wanted to cheat .plus most of the time it is around the back of me . ??? Slipped !!

Had another close look at the original picture, and I am sorry to say that

The finger is on the trigger and ready to take the shot

The elbow is clearly being supported by the bag

With the evidence in the picture, it "can't" be claimed "oh the bag has slipped round"

I did not want to reveal the identity of the shooter, but he has done that himself

HOW ABOUT IN FUTURE, WE HAVE A DESIGNATED MARSHALL STATIONED AT THE POSITIONAL LANES ?

    Are you up for it?

Dont thnk it will be easy to find 5 people willing to stand at a lane all day.

As said, the shooters companions are the best marshalls?

I am sure Holly will have the bag round the other shoulder at Gp5.

Yes I am up for it !

If you were at GP1 at Harriers, I marshalled during both sessions but not only at positional lanes.

After having helped put the course, plinking and car parking out. A tiring day !!
