"ATOM" Bench Rest Barreled Action
looks interesting, it will be good to have another option to try, i wish them all the best if the developer is on here.
like the look of that - will watch with interest!!
Now that , I like , i know what I want for an early Christmas present
Hope built in Picatinny rail will be an option.
snap - picatinny/weaver should be on the books.
Avery nice looking gun. I will be watching developments with interest.
I read that it can use different OEM reg/cylinders and trigger units. Great idea.
Not seen what barrels they are using though?
Think LW from what I read. Might be wrong.
I read that they were doing a heavy varmint with a LW polygonal barrel, but I didn't see anything about the current version.
I wonder if they can pay LW for selected barrels?
Not sure yet Rich.
I have polygonal barrel on my gun and wow what a difference
The one on my HW100 was terrible, but it did have some internal damage. I read that polygonal barrels work better with FAC rated power.
Do you think it would work for FT ?
Only one way to find out
But I suspect someone else already has which is why you don't see them fitted to everything, but as we all know 'everyone else' has a habit of being wrong, doing it wrong or using 'pub logic' to determine what's wrong..
I have had three polygon barrels on various rifles and they all were very , very pellet fussy ??? HOLLY
Surely rifles work best when they only have 1 barrel fitted? heh, heh, heh
Oh no, Holly's been in the loft , and fished out his boyhood Gatling gun
First pictures of the Atom FT rifle displayed at the Huntex Show in South Africa over the weekend:
Looks like you should be able to get a good tune out of the butt...
