    Hello all,

Ok so we have been a little distracted by the Worlds this year, and as such there hasn't been a change to the qualification method we used for 2019. I have spoken to SA and they are running one session which puts them at a maximum of 300. I suspect that they might not fill that, so I suspect that it will come down to those who want to go will get a place.

Cost has been confirmed at 2500 ZAR, which is about £135 based on the intra bank transfer exchange rate. Price includes welcome dinner, presentation meal and bean bag refills.

It looks like the format could be the same as WFTC 2019, one practice day, 3 competition days and presentation meal the day after. However this hasn't been officially confirmed.

What I do know is that it will be done on rounds like we did, which means we need to be ready to know how many places we want and pay for them when we want them to proceed to the next round.

So to get the ball rolling, if you are interested (keeping in mind you may need to commit to paying for entry early) please leave your name below.

    Thanks
    Rob

Below is a list, in order, of those who've expressed an interest. Teams will be filled first and then we'll go from there.

In the case that we are not offered enough places to fill a team then priority will be to send the minimum teams first (ie 4 PCP, 3 Piston) before making them full teams.

We have been allocated 11 places. We will be in touch with those 11 very shortly via email and confirm here when that email has gone out.

It is highly likely we will be offered more places in round 2. We are already aware of 3 countries who will not use their allocation.

If you name is in bold please check your email

Yes please - potentially. Though I've not done any GPs this year so I guess I'd have to see if there were spaces available.

Ultimately depends on the cost though.

    I mentioned this to wifey...

It seems she might like to go for a family holiday! My poor wallet.

So my name needs to go on the interested list please.

Looks like a fair bit to keep everyone busy out there and everyone can fit in the resort adjacent to the shoot by the sounds of things.

Best put Jonathan Noon down too. I need my driver:D

    Yes please, Neil MacKinnon.

Also Andy Williams who I don't think is a member of this forum.

And is not American and does not sing and didn't have a TV series and is not dead.

The resort is rather nice, I stayed there for several days a couple of years ago - the swimming pools are great. Lets not mention the tennis courts though....................(there is a story there:eek:).

In terms of attractions, if you want to see big game animals the Pilanesberg National Park is an easy drive from the venue and you also have Sun City to visit as well if you wish which is on the edge of Pilanesberg. These lie roughly 60 km by road, approximately 55 minute drive.

There is a handy guidebook available for Pilanesberg park: Pilanesberg National Park

The UNESCO listed 'Cradle of Humankind' lies about 35 km to the south-east as the crow flies.

The Tswaing meteorite crater lies over 70 km north-east in a straight line and again is easy driving.

The Hartbeespoort Dam area is about 30 km east and features a number of good restaurants and curio shopping opportunities.
