Got hold of a couple pairs of these today but not seen them before. Anyone familiar with the brand/quality?

    Apologies for grainy image.

Cheers guys. Yes they are torx head.

Are they a decent quality mount or would you be inclined to substitute them for Sportsmatch/BKL's?

    I actually prefer them.
They are a little harder to fit than standard mounts.
You kinda have to fiddle around a little to get them on as with the others the scope just sits into them, these ones you have to fit the scope 1st, loose, Then place the scope on and tighten up.
Easy once it's been done a few times, odd at 1st.
As far as are they any good though .... Yea, they are really good.

I had some on an s400/bushnell elite combo & it didn't budge but as stated they're fiddly buggers to set up! :p

There were a few choice words from me the 1st time i used them too :D
    but worth buying.
I was watching a film the other night BEHIND ENEMY LINES and i noticed the sniper who was chasing Owen Wilson was using them too.:)
My wife thinks i'm mental for seeing that and rewinding and pausing the movie and...well she's probably right !
    Anyway...same mounts :D

Junk em, best advice I can give.
Cant remove scope from rifle without a total setup.

incidentally the Weaver of them warne don't fit most picatinny rails.

Can you remove any scope without a total reset ?
If my scope comes off any gun i always have to re zero !
i have them fitted to a picatinny rail on the AR20ft.

    Good mounts i think anyway.

Had a set of these on my steyr for two years and fitted my picatiny no problem . Also no issues with poa change too,I rate them better than sports match & bkl.

Simple answer yes, I have to do it as many as 3 times per week even between lanes.

Some great input guys, many thanks. They are clearly a good quality mount, but I can also appreciate how the design does not support a straightforward scope removal/refit (back-to-front/front-to-back :)).

For this reason they will no doubt be used on the FWB and not the Steyr.

Being a newbie, I'm certainly interested to hear what prompts a scope refit between lanes however

    Warne used those as well.

Would say there's some rebadging going on ;)

The nikko Sterling are made from aluminium, Warne are made from steel ;)

Sportsmatch now do weaver style mounts which are much better and easier to set up, also they have a new height adjustable set of weaver mounts also so you can centre your elevation turret.

Didn't think Warne do mounts for dovetails but stand to be corrected. I like the weaver fit Warnes a lot

Look like the Nikkos to me.

Just to prove a point that to the bullshitters that a dovetail mounted scope can easily be taken off and put back on. Never ceases to amaze them and done it for over 20 yrs.

Think he means "why"? would you take a scope off between lanes Jon,
Kinda made me wonder too  never had to do that myself, or see it done ?

The dove tails are easier to work with no doubt, but the other ones in the pic are every bit as good, once the buggers are fitted of course :)
