hunter barrel

    hi lads, my walther has a hunter barrel so i am told, i want to now can it be cut down for ft. dave

    and where did you get the idea It should be 'cut down' for FT ?

    hi lads ,i just like the shorter barrel, the barrel i have is spot on, i got the walther of scoobys mate, dan, its just a little long for me.

    I know what you mean, 22 inches is a bit long but if you cut the muzzle down you will loose the choke and proberly loose the accuracy. You could cut down the breech end which would need some good machine work to get the internal taper and locating holes right. I tried to get a 19 inch barrel but Walther do not have any and are not going to make any more 19 inch barrels for the dominater. The other option would be to get one of the guys on the board to try and copy the muzzle end onto another blank.
