At least one of the days at the weekend, one decent session mid week and a back garden plink up for half an hour or so a few nights to wind down after work.;):)

    Saturday afternoon 13:00 till dark.

    Sundays from 07:00 - 14:00.

Those are the winter times, in summer after work maybe from 18:00 - 20:00 as it's too bloody hot any other time of the day. Coming to think of it even those times are stressful just holding the air rifle. It's gets all wet and sticky with sweat due to our southern desert winds we get all through summer.................freakin Sahara Desert :(

Wish I lived in the UK......................:shot:

Most Thursday nights I do sporting small bore but I hardly get a chance to shoot ft or hft (anyone that saw me at Kelmarsh will agree to that). I really do need to find the time to get out and practice...

Give me rain and cold any time over our sweltering heat!

Seems like both of you have not experienced our terribly hot and humid summers, especially when we get 40 celcius heatwaves going on for a whole friggin week!

I tell you it's terrible! Try shooting in those conditions! From June till September it's almost impossible to shoot for more than an hour without dehydraiting and getting the feeling of just throwing the rifle back in the case and go back home under the A\C.

Thing is that the Worlds are usualy end of September or beginning of October which means very very limited time for practice

At least in South Africa last year I did not feel the heat as the other UK shooters did as I was used to it but lacked very much in practice!

In the UK you can shoot no problem almost all year round :shot:

Charlts, we should organize an FT/HFT foreign shooter exchange program for the summer :D:D:D

Might just take you on your offer Brian, oops sorry I meant Ryan :D

Basically it all depends on finances with all this freakin blunt economy and all that, plus the Worlds in Hungary come October.

Would be great to meet and shoot with some of you guys in the UK :) and you are always welcome to come over and visit Malta for some shooting, just don't do it in summer time :D:D:D I'm sure my shooting club will be more than happy to organize something.

BTW, did you meet Wayne at the Worlds?

My gun hasn't been out of it's case for 2 weeks - hopefully I will get a chance to plink for 10 mins on Sunday before my number is called at the regionals on Sunday.

Just don't have much time to shoot these days :(

    Dave.

I didn't get to meet Wayne unfortunately Kris, although big Greg did and he's almost family. We've got at least 4 definites awaiting the dates of your open shoots next year though.

Is Wayne a member on here? Any tips on travelling by air to Malta with guns would definitely be appreciated!:)
