Having only started shooting in the middle of last year and very quickly (thanks to all the great people at Horsham HFT) getting to the point of really loving it, I was wondering how long many of you lot have been shooting?

4 years ago in November I got my first airgun, had never been intersted in shooting until I couldn't play Rugby anymore.

I started shooting in January last year. Did my first HFT in April and have been seriously hooked!

I got a couple of cheap springers for me and my son and joined a club in December 2006. We had a go at the NEFTA hunter in April 2007 and shot our first national that same year and have been hooked ever since.

The Allcomers at Basingstoke 2007 with a .22 (Very very wet & cold) only missed one National since (Anston 2008, work:mad:). Its a bit addictive this HFT lark;):D Used to shoot bigger stuff before that.

I got hold of a Diana Mod 27 in 1970's and hid it under my bed and shot it when my parents were out, totaly facinated by shooting it and still have it!

Then bought a new FWB 300SU in 1980.

    The rest is history.
Currently have 15 Rifels and 11 Pistols and shoot FT in the Midlands for the past 4 yr. Also shoot NSRA pistol and rifel events.

    50+ years
Dad started me off with a Webley Junior pistol, 1958, soon followed by a Meteor rifle then an Airsporter. Lost count of the number of guns between then and an HW35E in circa 1977?
First PCP was an AA TM100,about 1982, don't think I've had a more accurate rifle since.
Did my first HFT clearance recently, there's hope for you all.
