I must admit I do take the car as it's a bit too far to carry all the gear.

The outdoor range is eleven minutes walk, :):) and the indoor range is not so far as that, it's 280 yards.:D:D

Working from memory, the outdoor club is 8.3 miles and the indoor club is 9.6 miles away. Either way it just takes about 1/2 hour driving time to get to either location from home.

14 miles each way to Guiseley
20 miles each way to Redfearns (but it's quicker as I live 2 mins from M62)

Pretty near the NEFTA centre of gravity, as it's also 18 miles to Emley Moor and 22 to Ponte
    :)

For me its just under 3 miles, but again for me to get to the GP's the miles soon ramp up from the south west.

Shot for Christchurch (nearest club) last year that was 55 miles each way, this year Quarry (2nd nearest club) which is 75 miles each way. I pick up a couple of mates on the way so around 90miles each way.

I personally only have to to travel about 25m....thats 25 metres.
Others in our club travel between 20-50kms each way. The nearest club other than ours would be 60-70kms away..and then the next would be maybe 120kms...

about 1 to my indoor 25yd range

about 5 to CGC, but that has nothing permanent out, and the woods require more than one to shoot

about 45 to weymouth where there's a permanent 50 shot GP course, plinking range and HFT course

about 75 to bisley where i can do my ranges in summer ( weymouth gets dark under the canopy ) and where i can shoot floodlit in the evening and get a cup of tea

yes, i am working out what the fuel cost means in terms of renting some ground closer... but with the new forest to the right, the worlds largest harbour to the left, a flood plain up, and a sea below, land can be hard to find before i bump into another club.

    Long drive

My club nelson is just over a mile from my front door...

By the time I grab milk and biscuits on he way there, it must take me 8 minutes to get to the club...

Things are spread out here in the USA a bit. We have two clubs within an hours drive from my home. So, about 70 miles one way for my regular club shoots on the weekend.

I started my own local club last year and have since purchased 25 acres of property to run matches on. So, beginning this summer, I'll walk out my back door and arrive at my club! :)

I have already done one regional two day match in Texas this season. It was 14 hours drive one way or about 1620 miles round trip...
