Target 1 score is what everyone strives to achieve which is hard enough with what
has been mentioned earlier , but also you have to factor in the time element and comp pressure.
That card was shot in an empty range (Only me shooting BR at my club!) so I would have been gutted if I had shot poorly .
Sorry duplicated this reply !!! hard work on phone !
I have never done a BR card properly I don't think, I have shot cards at 30m at Atherton range, but they look different to any posted here, and I have a load of others I play with, but none are actually for comps, just for fun.
Is there anywhere I can download practice cards that are the right size/layout to have a go with?
I should really tie Walter down and challenge him to a fun round so I know exactly what I'm up against, but I don't want to embarrass him with my version of accuracy
James I've not seen any practice cards but to be honest I've not gone out of may way to find any ?
Do you shoot at Atherton ? because they are shooting the UKBR22 postals.
If you join the forum you can buy cards through them , not overly expensive .
I occasionally shoot at Atherton, and have some of the targets they use for their own in house comp, but I'm not fond of these, so use my own for virtually all my paper punching which is mostly accuracy and pellet testing. Most of my shooting is done at BOAC for casual/fun reasons, but I still like nice and accurate rifles.
James, have a look at the cards they are using for the postal's they must have some spare, unless Becky is hiding them !, I'm assuming the in-house cards are the white card ones ?
Failing that I can always drop some samples off at BOAC , but would only be able to get there during the week. as at the weekend I'm shooting at BRPC.
Hi James, you can download A4 practice targets from the UKBR22 website UKBR22 A4 Practice Targets.
Damn ! I didn't know that , must use my eyes more.
Thanks, just the job
Thanks Gordon, sorted as above.
Good advice for BR
