    Scotland could be closer to a ban than I thought!

    This has been posted to me... makes a little worrying reading, my interpretation is that the SNP is using the airgun issue as a political football around which they can flex their political muscles over devolution... but see what you think.

    At the time of writing (July 2009) the Scottish Government has published a draft Order containing a possible provision for legislative devolution in the regulation of air guns. This would be achieved by an amendment to the Scotland Act 1998.


    Note the mention of compensation, worries over this scheme being flawed, and the problem of different laws...

    Not good reading the bit about Scotland page 6 onwards looks like we are stuffed:( if it goes through there its Englands the next nail in our box.
