Thank you Admin for activating my account.
My name is Mark Deakin from Staffordshire, just would like to say hello to everyone and looking forward to learning this superb sport and reading the threads.
Just starting out, looking for a rifle to do some hunting and HFT with, I have been advised to go for the AAS400 as a 1st rifle.

    Hi Mark and welcome aboard.

You won't go far wrong with the S400, I've had one for many years now and have always been very pleased with its performance and its never let me down!

Cheers Tony, alot of people have said the same. I was thinking of buying the Weihrauch HW100, but was told that you would not see these on the HFT circuit.

HW100 is a great gun but much more expensive than the 400, even second hand. I've seen HW100's on HFT and FT shooting lines, but shoot the 400 myself at the moment. I doubt there is a better value for money gun than the 400. I have a classic because you get more shots per fill than with the carbine.
