Only if it's a PCP. If it's older it might be SSP.

csfta.co.uk should help you find a club, from your location I'd suggest Meon Valley would be your closest. Southampton Buccaneers are also close but they are more FT orientated, where as Meon are more HFT. However either club are welcoming of either discipline of shooter, it's just that they specialise in different areas. There's also BPARC at Basingstoke.

It really depends on what model and condition the Walther is in as to it's value.

Welcome to the forum Andy, get yourself along to your local club as Rob has said because you will struggle to find a more helpful bunch of lads that only want you to get into the sport and help you out ;)

I won't say no, but it's not a financially feasible option.

Rob, where is Andy from? I can only see his location as England. If he needs any advise then Andy is more than welcome to come along to the club and have a look/try at the set-up's we use.

    Thanks Rob, :):)

    Andy!
any of the three clubs that Rob has mentioned will be able to give you all the help and advise you will need. The best thing you can do is get yourself along to "Southampton Buccaneers" and then either us (meon valley Airgun club) or "Basingstoke ARC", to take/try out the different disciplines. That way you will have a more informed idea as to whether you spend money on converting your rifle, or splashing out on a rig suited to the format that you wish to shoot, it dosn't have to be expensive to start in either FT or HFT.

I started of at "Buccaneer's" and they are a great club, but found that my style of shootig was more suited to HFT, and the only way I found this out was by getting out there and giving it a go.

Ok that's very strange? I did reply to your last post but it hasn't registered??

    Andy,
go to our web site www.mvac.co.uk and you will find details of what times we are open and who to contact, the main club night is Wednesday and it is the only time non/new members can use the indoor range, as a full member you can use the club 7 days a week.
Sunday is when we shoot at Hen Woods and we have an open event this coming Sunday 9th. If you wish to come along and have a look/ try then please let me know.

When you are on the Web site click the link to our FB page and you will get a better understanding of what we are all about.
