Just want to say that I really like this site. I'm from the states and there really is no truly good web site to go to here. There's alway great pictures of the events and good high lights too. I know you all started FT and all that but I would think after this much time that some one in the states would have come up with a decent web site. I've been to the Yellow Forum and it doesn't compare to here. Steve does a good job but not like here. Seems as though most clubs have something going on here and plenty of news.
I also want to say that I think you have some of the best tuners around, in general for FT work and tweaking. We have good tuners here too, Allen Z is great and Chip Smith (more for bench rest) does some great builds with Rapid stuff but we really don't have what you folks have. Most of the stock makers here have quit or want to design big buck one off high caliber guns or won't make one for this or for that. Don't get me wrong, I love my country but when someone has a good thing going they should be told about it or reminded of it. And there is also stock makers there who do some nice stuff with aluminum bits and pieces and are top notch. Enjoy what you have!!
    Merry Christmas

    Thanks johnnyboy.

I currently hang my hat at airgunadvice.com most of the time but I like to wander around the world too. I don't own an air rifle any more, wife and kids come first. I could buy one on credit but I don't like to owe money and my wife would not like it either. So instead I am trying to build an air rifle which is turning into a joke. My 24" air tube has shrunk to 14 inches due threading issues, out of round issues, just stupid crap. So now everything goes in a 4 jaw chuck and gets dial indicated and trued. I've also gone through about 20 inches of solid round stock aluminum but I will get there, don't care if I pull all of my hair out in the process. Funny, I used to own a Stey LG100 connect (two of those at different times), an MFR and should have bought an EV2 MKII that was offered to me when I had money. It was worked on by Allen Zasadny here in the states and he is a fantastic tuner, matter of fact it was his personal air rifle. Shoot me now please.
I do meant it though, the English have such a better grasp and following for field target that is not here in the states. As soon as possible though I will go shoot FT, I have a club less than 10 miles from me and I will get to it.

    Good man Pat,

Its good to see a man of passion and determination trying to get there, all credit to you mate where ever the journey takes you. I hope you get a sufficient luck to be able to buy something nice in FT gear to enjoy using it, the struggle will make it all the more worthwhile.

    Have a good Xmas

    John;)

    Thanks all

For the warm welcome. I am thinking of saying the heck with it and buying an Air Arms, maybe an S500.
