    no probs matey ive been up clearing the track with bill and cutting trees back,we r having a shoot sunday 24th oct all welcome start at 9am at purley chase,it will be a 30 shot coarse out but we will hav some 55 yarder out but u could shoot the short 1 twice etc,its our practice ft coarse that will be out 1 shortish 1 and 1 longish 1 etc with reduces

    That's not fair, no where has the parking facilities of Basingstoke! The woods are more mature and denser, plus we have a Giles to send up the tree's with his harnesses to set out the high targets!!!!!!!!:D:D

    no problems matey its all about the shooting,if we all park sensible we hav no problems,me and bill r working our balls off sorting it all out,hopeing u guys hav a wicked shoot,im going hav a blast at hft,ive done 1 so im going to hav a go and do the photos for u all,this place will not disapoint u all ,:D:D:D

    Purley Chase - top shooting ground

    Purley is down a lan off the main road. For the FT shoots, the early birds park in the car parking areas at the end and everyone else parks in the lane. I can't remember exactly how many attended the clubs cup a couple of years ago but I was in harriers 4th team, and the longest delays were in the shooting lanes, best part of 200 turned up. As the lads say, requires a bit of thought when parking but I have always enjoyed the Purley shoots, even if my scores are mostly c**p. Always a "bit" windy there and with targets 50 ft up in trees it's often a case of firing the kills as they go through the scope.
