A question on the northern shooting show masters hft shoot, do you have to book tickets for the show for entry to the grounds, parking Ect to gain entry to the hft

Will the two tier system be in place again for this year's series?

Is there an am and pm shoot this year or is it all one round?

    Is there Div 1 & Div 2?

Is there a 1st-3rd in each class?

What will be the timings for kick off?

    Cheers.

Is there a problem with the HFT Masters? The talk at the club is that the April 14th Lea Valley Masters shoot has been cancelled! are the remaining venues a go or are all on hold or scrubbed?
As a very popular shoot to look forward to, is the Northern Shooting Show HFT masters shoot at Harrogate still on.

According to the Masters Facebook page this year's competition has been cancelled.

The Northern Shooting Show comp is still on though.

The course setter at Cloybank has said that Ian Bainbridge has told him that the Cloybank round is still on as well, though I imagine this will only affect us up here now.

Shame the series won't be going ahead as personally I enjoyed the format.
The Northern Shooting Show HFT is a good event in its own right as it's a cracking weekend. As for Cloybank I hope a shoot is still arranged on that date as it's one of my favourite venues.

A bit late in the day to be cancelling the series. Hope those booking hotels can cancel without any charges.

I’m at the shooting show as booked tickets months ago.

Not sure I’ll be doing cloydbank had a great time last year but it’s a long way for one shoot.

Thanks for posting here. I do not have a Facebook account so would not have found out and as the masters website is not working things are a bit of a mystery.

Look forward to the updates from the masters team.

Would hurt the Masters people to put up a more open announcement on here really, would it???

    Text from Facebook:

Well I am very very sad to say that the HFT Masters will not be going ahead this year due to our main sponsor pulling out at the very last minute. Such a great shame and believe me I tried to sort this but sadly did not manage to. We will be at the Northern shooting show as normal but all the others are very sadly cancelled . We are so so sorry for this . Next year we will be back bigger and better . I would like to take this opportunity to thank the sponsors we have had from the start . Sorry...

    We don't all have Facebook.

    (Hint....!)

Why would sponsors pull out as that was reason I was told ? I though it was doing quite well for itself .

Could the clubs that were hosting put on a shoot anyway? I reckon there will be some people that have booked hotels that can't be cancelled.

In fact, why not just do the full shoots with the clubs co-operating and doing the scores. A bit of extra work but in return they get to keep all the entry fees rather than just a share.

OK, there may be no fancy trophies and a normal bonus bunny rather than a large cash prize but how many actually go to the shoots purely for a chance of a big cash prize?
