I have got my weekend tickets for Harrogate and would like to know how the HFT intro on Saturday works. Do I just turn up to have a go or book a time slot. Is there guns to use or do I have to bring my own. How much does it cost. TIA :)

BSA will be supplying all of the equipment.
There will be a small charge this year.
Just turn up and have a go.

Thanks don't think my setup will work for HFT. But if I enjoy it I will change it.

HFT 500 and TX200 are two of the most popular rifles in HFT. What scope are you using, that you think it might not do?

Wind it down to x10 mag and I'm sure it'll do to get you started :) But as Ray says, there'll be rifles to try on the day, and so you'll get to try out some more appropriate scopes ... and then you can go and buy one at the show!

I doubt that you will ever see a Steyr stand in the UK.

The UK official importer Harry Preston is a low key affair although very helpful, who mainly services the products from home and has no specific business premises. The guns are now sold through just a few UK gun dealers so there is no real Steyr PR frontage.
At a guess I would say at least a third of the UK guns are personal imports direct from dealers in Europe..
