    Hi Guys,

I'm wondering if any of you might have some pointers on where I'm going wrong here.

I've just installed a V-Mach kit in a Diana 48 side lever, and whilst it's certainly shooting smooth as... it's also way below power.

I've followed the instruction to the letter, and:

    2x preload washers = 9.3ft/lbs
    3x preload washers = gun won't cock

I've noticed that in addition to the metal washers supplied, there's also a nylon ring, which I think might go at the spring guide end.

Ideally I'd like to get it to ~11ft/lbs.

Anybody have any ideas as to where I'm going wrong?

    Cheers,

    Cam.

Could be the piston seal is too tight a fit, or you were sent the wrong spring or piston seal, or the breach seal needs replacing (get new ones in some of the kits), or chrono no good....the list goes on. Best thing to do is to contact Steve Pope ;) v-mach@air-rifle-tuning.com , had the same trouble myself with a TX and I tried loads of things before contacting Steve :(. Had to send my internals to him and result was the kit was OK. Turned out to be the cocking arm was worn where it attaches so it wasn't sealing at the breach.

    Ah, OK.

    I'll drop him an email.

    Thanks for the advice,

    Cam.
