    Hello all,

I would be most grateful if you could take a little time to read this.

Today, whilst taking my youngest daughter to primary school, I learned that two of her little school mates have had some sad news.

Identical twins Kian and Luis King have suffered all their lives, having had difficulties that has led them to spend their time in wheelchairs or aided walkers. They are such brave little boys, and always have a smile. However, last week they were both diagnosed with Krabbe Disease, a form of Leukodystrophy, a progressive degeneration of the central nervous system that dramatically shortens the lifespan of the patient.

Kian and Luis have a dream: To take a trip to Florida to swim with dolphins.

This weekend will be National Rare Disease Day so next week the school is having a charity day to help them raise some money.

I am just making you (or mainly the MFTA shooters) aware, that I would like to have a bucket at the stats office at the MFTA Masters & Clubs Cup on 8 March at Far Coley. I do appreciate we are all worse off in this current climate, and that you do not know them, but If anyone there can spare just £1 each to help make their dream come true I would be very, very grateful. Every little will help make a huge difference to their lives.

Many thanks in advance, and I look forward to seeing many of you in a couple of weeks.

    Cheers,

    Chris

    Hi mate,

I don't think there is. I have had JG pages before for charity work I have done, but not sure if they have one for this. I will ask when I see their mum.

Very many thanks for the offer, I am always humbled at how kind the folks of the shooting community are.

    I will keep you posted,

    Cheers

    Chris

    Cheers guys, all so kind.

Please don't feel obliged to put a lot in, I was only trying to help them and make a difference to their lives.

Steady on Simon, anyone would think we take this FT lark seriously! :)

On a serious note, I can't thank you all enough, and I will make sure those that have contacted me have a contribution put in the pot.

    Cheers chaps,

    Chris

He probably spends more than that on caffeine enriched hair care product so he looks his best when he's cruising around in his van wearing top gun shades with his disco smoke machine shrouding him in a mist, o your so money supermarket Damo1.

Sorry Iv misunderstood , "mind" games ?? I'd need a mind for that !
And I assumed ( wrongly ) you had been in the game for longer .
However I don't understand me niggling you , I thought I'd been damn rite unpleasant , must try harder damo1 ( come on now let's not take that serious either )
Si I like all of these ft types even you , and I'm sure you don't want to profit from my misery as I don't yours .
I will however make a donation to these unfortunate chidlers in the op .

    Hi all,

Thank you so much for all your support for this worthy cause. My daughter's school held a sponsored walk and biscuit sale this week and raised a great deal, so the family is a little closer to their goal.

Just a reminder that I will have a collection bucket the MFTA Masters and Clubs Cup this Sunday at Far Coley. I appreciate this is really only applicable to MFTA shooters, so if you feel you want to help (for those that have not already contacted me) there is a donation page online.

Lets see if we can help the dreams of these two little boys come true, and give the family an amazing memory that will live with them forever.

You can donate online by visiting:

    GoFundMe.com/lj5no4

If you wish, you can reference me or FT so they know where its come from.

Thanks again to all for your support.

    Cheers,

    Chris

    A massive thank you

    Hi all,

I would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who helped support this cause at the Midland Masters and Clubs Cup at Far Coley yesterday.

We totted up the bucket and there was an amazing £253.00!! I would also like to say a big thanks to Far Coley themselves, who, as a club, put £50 in the bucket to help boost the total.

I have made this donation to the boys page and left a short message from the people of the MFTA. You can see the donation entry here:

    www.gofundme.com/lj5no4

I understand there will also be another donation from an HFT club and individual shooter too. I am so grateful for all your support. I am constantly amazed at the kindness and generosity shown by the FT and HFT community, I cannot think of a nicer and more supportive group of people.

This will really help make a difference.

    Many thanks,

    Chris
