Greetings one and all from sunny North Wales.

Just bought a couple of plinking rifles for me and my lad (Hatsan springer and Kral NP-02)- trying to get him off the xbox and out of his room (semi successfully)....

It's been nearly 20 years since my last air rifle (Theoben Rapid 12) and I've already got bored of tin cans and penny's in the back garden.

I went along to see the good people at Fort HFT club last weekend. Was made to feel extremely welcome and was able to shoot (badly) at some targets. I have now been looking at proper rifles and will be going back again to try and knock some targets down.

    How hard can it be?

    Nick

Welcome Nick. HFT/FT can be very hard but also very rewarding. Don't expect to set the world on fire and accept that it may take a few years before your scores start to rise.....they will mate, trust me. Patience and listening to experienced HFT/FT shooters is the key.

Thanks for the welcome. Hopefully I'll make this my home for a while.....

Looking forward to getting to grips with HFT as it looks to be right up my street.

Just got a few things to sneak past the wife now....
