Hello, I would like to introduce myself, I'm Agapito Reyes. Recently took up field target shooting to keep myself occupied while my little 20 month girl is napping. Just joined the Easton Field Target Club and will be shooting my first comp in a week and a half. I have plenty to learn and lots of questions. Between this forum and tutelage of the club elders I hope to find my answer and better my marksmanship.

My rifle will be arriving this thursday, an S400 side lever on a custom aluminum stock. The scope will be arriving monday the following week , a Falcon T50. Also ordered Jon's side wheel from Falcon, and it will ship as it becomes available.

    Cheers,
    Redster

    Hi TxemaD,
I've placed that same question to my self. Why?
I think i've been bitten by the Steyr bug...
May be last June in Zumarraga... :):):)

    Thanks for the pic.

Regarding the new rig, S400 on TGAG aluminum stock with a Falcon T50. With the help of Ronnie the FT club president we got her shooting good now. We chronograph it and it's shooting at 894 Fps with the H&N Barracuda Match and Air Arms FT pellets accurately. We worked on the ballistic coefficient to get my ballistic chart and only corrected 10 yards on the card when we confirmed the numbers at the range. The T50 is working good for me. The optics is clear and the clicks are positive. It ranges pretty good and at the moment ranging at 30 power. I placed second on my second comp 5 points behind Ronnie who's been coaching me. Since I am new at this I still need to work on my positions except standing. Somehow shooting ten meters back when I was in high school two decades ago helped. Still learning how to dope the wind but the Air Arms pellet seem to work ok in the wind.
