Still getting ideas but have a guess
Is it a housing to attach the barrel to the reg checker in line with the trigger block so you can record the velocity?
Its a creative way to turn a perfectly functional lump of ali into scrap?
Looks to me like another reg checker is about to be born to the World.
Graham has just finished making a spendid digital one which I'm sure he won't mind me posting up here:
I know I know
Hate to say it but that looks like the end result of one of Holly’s rifle styling experiments...
see that little hole in the end Colin .
it's all about that
Is it a jig for doing pro target barrels ?
You have a hole in both ends...
I take it the block end will have some sort of breech block?
Nah, can you see any superglue and crosstheaded bent imperial bolts jammed into a metric thread?
Very true, but it was more about the 'chunky' styling, plus if it were Holly's creation I guess it would be missing it's barrel already...
Good shout Simon .
It allows me to drill the 2 top locators and the bottom ( hee hee ) tranfer port in the mill or drill press .
Them the eccentric end tp easily chucked in a 3 jaw in the lathe
We like chunky Col.
Lay orf my hero .
at least he puts his pellets in the right hole in the barrel
Good shout, no wonder Rob's pellets go wayward...
