    Is it a housing to attach the barrel to the reg checker in line with the trigger block so you can record the velocity?

    You have a hole in both ends...o_O
    I take it the block end will have some sort of breech block?

    Nah, can you see any superglue and crosstheaded bent imperial bolts jammed into a metric thread?

    Very true, but it was more about the 'chunky' styling, plus if it were Holly's creation I guess it would be missing it's barrel already...:D

    Yep .

    Good shout Simon .

    It allows me to drill the 2 top locators and the bottom ( hee hee ) tranfer port in the mill or drill press .

    Them the eccentric end tp easily chucked in a 3 jaw in the lathe
