Many thanks to everyone. I had a wonderful day (back and knees sore today but that is just age ). I had wonderful company around the course with James Lindley and Helen Carragher. We weren't able to stay for the results but congratulations to Neil Daniels - surprising how many Neils there are
Very tricky wind and not having shot there before found it a struggle at times. Things were learnt though so hopeful;ly more of an idea next time? Yes, there were lots of long ones again. Think perhaps 4 or 5 of the 50 + could have dropped back to 40 + and still been tricky? However, Gp 5 was the same and at present 8 is simular! Maybe something BFTA needs to look at ? Max 10 over 50? Bring in 30 ml kills out to 45 yards? I again heard people muttering about the crossed strings and more than one target in a lane. Dont think the mulkti choice target was a problem in many lanes however. Neither of the above a problem for me but something to think about? All in all though, a propper Gp course. i shot crap! Hope to better next visit Thanks to all that put on the event, one of the toughest and best so far.
Almost forgot to thank Dave Robinson and Fred Stainbridge for making the presentation very interesting You are very bad men
Gp7 Thanks to all at Redfearns for a great shoot, and thanks a lot Mike for nominating me for the Aardvark award, you rotten sod
Your welcome Dave your welcome my friend lol, besides isn't this a prestigeous award to be nominated for ATB Mike D
Thanks goes to in no particular order; Beryl for changing me from an AM to a PM when Mr hard-of-thinking here booked an AM slot when his lift had booked a PM. Garmin for the really interesting tour of South Yorkshire. Big Jay and Aggie for making a rinsing by the wind actually very enjoyable. And last but not least Redferns FTC and their members for a cracker of a shoot. Nice one, one and all, you are all heroes!
What can i say Dave months of looking at that glass globe and chuckleing myself to sleep are in ruins if only id realised it should have been the 2nd place one that should have been doctored...never mind better luck next time eh?
