Well finally on the final part of the journey home.

I would like to just say thanks to all at Rivington FTC for a course that was extremely challenging with the wind that came out to play. You never really knew what to give each target (varied for me between nowt and I am in the next county :D :eek:o )

Much to the amusement of Tony Cook and Dave (for got the surname sorry know it started with a R  ) I did manage to slide of my beanbag twice. Lane 20 being the first culprit, us of a larger statue getting feet above arse not so easy.

When I left I think top score was 38 but I could have been wrong.

Anyway thanks for a great weekend out and see you all in Newbury for the next round still got to beat my highest score of 26 so far this year.. Got two weekends of practise before then.

just blew in from the windy city

Thanks all for putting on a most challenging shoot. I was chuffed to have survived. Thanks to the two guys who I shot round with and the oh so kind Marshall who carried my gun down the slope for me at the end and also un wrapped the sheep.from the target string so i could shoot the target not the sheep :)

    Very interesting

Challenging to say the least and that was finding the place with a sat nav that nearly got its self shot. Cheers to Rob and Martin for the company and Martin for the lend of a seat until the kind marshal (soz not sure of his name) recovered mine from the car after the mad dash up the hill :).

You are welcome for the seat loan Brian and thanks to you and Rob for the company. Cheers to Rivi for a difficult shoot. The marshall was Dave Taylor, not sure of his name on here.

Can't wait to get my scope :D

Had a great time, really enjoyed the course and the wind made it so hard. Silli's took some doing as well, reckon I missed the field at least twice! Cheers to Jo P and Mark for the excellent company and C Grade Bandit skills. Big thanks to all at Rivi and Shaun for sorting the stats so quick.

Thanks to the Rivi lads for laying on such an enjoyable entertaining shoot.
Remind me to take the satnav next time of which I hope there will be plenty more visits.

Thoroughly enjoyed the shoot, one of the most challenging ever for me. Great effort by all concerned.
Nice to see scores all over the place...that's wind for you.

To get a comment from Jon like that above, means the course was brilliant..... We can never please him:rolleyes:

Thanks to all involved for all the effort in setting this up and running it.

Had some good company and a laugh around the course - not much you could do but laugh really - with that wind
