Blimmen eck Neil, are you staying 5 star and running on Avgas? It didn't cost me that to do 999.9 miles there and back on super unleaded to Scotland in the Cooper Works and I did 3 & 1/2 tanks taking it easy...

2 night stay for 2 is £150. Fuel is around £100 and my lavish eating habits don't come cheap. Lol

You need to leave of the Foie Gras and Caviar and get something that does better than 20 mpg.

You'd enjoy our place a lot.

Think I will enjoy a few weekends away more than all the hassle I get from trying to book in a GP at the moment.

You were trying to book a session that as has been pointed out to you, was already full.

I'm booked in for the AM session of GP4. If it ain't too much of a ball ache for the organisers I'm happy to shoot the PM session if they will swap things around?

    Hi everyone,

We seem to have a bit of a problem with the mobile theme we use for the site, it still works but desktop and iPad will be faster for booking until we resolve the issue. Please remember we are all volunteers and I seem to have spent most of Friday trying to resolve the issue.

So the 75 people who booked in since that time have all booked in the PM session as the AM season was full 2 weeks ago.

ok , let me get this straight,,, i tried to book in and it wont let me book the session i want to shoot, so sod FT im not shooting FT anymore cos i cant get my own way ??????

i work on a monday ,some of us have to work for a living,, cant believe you said that Ian, why is it selfish mate ???? i personally think its a cracking idea cos i get to spend an extra day with the wife and my son

jesus christ get in the real world guys, we are all in the same boat, i wanted to book am but OH DEAR it was full so i booked PM, ive got a bloody 4hr and 15min drive so even longer, what on earth do you both want ?????? , these guys spend hours in the background TRYING THEIR BEST to help us all out so we can shoot, a double header has been organised and NOT ONE SINGLE MOAN until, " if i dont get my own way im not shooting it,,,,,,,,,, take up golf boys its less stressful or will you demand a certain tee time and if you dont get it NOT GO,,, ive never read such bullshite in my life,,, give the organisers a bloody break, its already a thankless job

i am not intending to offend anyone but come on give the organisers a break for gods sake. lets get real, if a session is full its full simple,, but do you really have to try and hold them to ransom by threatening not to go if you dont get the session you want ???? sorry to be upfront but i thought i left this crap when i stopped match fishing,,

to those behind the scenes ,,thankyou guys and gals ,,,,to those trying to take the piss, lets be fair and give them a break,,i,ve booked every GP including the euros on a phone older than a shire horse with no problems whatsoever, ,,,,,, forget it i give up,,im going back to league dominoes, less moaners there

rant over and tin hat securely on

I didn’t say that, 75 people booked in to 4 events, don’t put words in my mouth.

So if Neil can find another volunteer I'm sure I can sort it out.

I think Neil only needed to shoot AM on GP4, so with this gent’s kind offer it should be sorted...

The whole point of this weekend was to see if a double header would suit FT , it works for HFT.
I agree that Sat/Sunday would have been better, mainly so I would not have to get mixed up with bank holiday traffic on my return journey .
As for locals shooting AM ,they have the right to shoot their preferred session ,the booking in opened at the same time for everyone .

    I booked a room 30mins away for 34 quid including a breakfast .
Neil shoot PM Sunday and have a steady drive down Sunday morning ,book a room for the night and pay on the day for AM session Monday ,if they can not fit you both in, put your 12 quid towards fuel for your steady drive home.
It's a trial run after all and if it proves successful , who ever hosts the double header next year can learn from these little niggles .
