    Hft

Hi, we are just opening this Sunday will be the first shoot. We also run a clay pigeon shoot every other Sunday, but next weekend it will only be HFT. We are still waiting for some targets, we have 30 at the moment and still waiting for another 10. We have a wooed area and a huge car park for zero/plinking. We also have ladies and gents toilets and food and drinks on offer.
    Thanks.

Big thanks to Sharon and Sean

Well me and Big Chris took a ride up there today to try it out,the welcome was fantastic me and Chris were ask to give them some feed back on the course and we did, which was taken well.
For a couple of people trying to set a course out that have NEVER done this sort of shooting before they did a great job,i would say they got it 68% right :p.
They said they will change the course around every now and again and will fined out what HFT and FT is all about, by looking up Web site to help.
So anyone that has a Sunday where there not shooting a comp and live in the area give it a go or you just like to shoot your air rifle go and have some FUN.

Yep what Chris said, cracking place and very friendly even the shotgunners stopped to chat :eek::D (No worries with them Ryan they point in the other direction);):D. Sean and co have a massive area to play with and food drinks & proper toilets on site:eek:. I will certainly be visiting again even if its just to practice/test bits of kit:D. Once fully up and running its going to be very handy for any HFT/FT shooters in Wilts/Gloucester/Oxfordshire area who don't want to travel too far for a Comp, just off the A419 at Cotswold Water Park Junction so easy to get to:D

Shall I mention the scores:cool: Nah keep you lot guessing till The Welsh Open:D

Oh and can some kind MOD move this to the main bit to give everyone the heads up that this place exists.

Thanks you two, nice to meet you both and really appreciated your comments and glad you enjoyed it.It has all clicked in place especially after we had discussed the last three pegs in the pond area (the crossovers). I have been out today clearing more ground to enable this, oh and the ladder is coming out tomorrow well you did say you liked shooting targets up in the trees. Look forward to meeting you both soon, however BEWARE target placement has all sunk in now and I am looking at ways to catch you out (angles and elevation) oh and by the way I have started to cut a path in towards the ditch just up from the bridge I hope we dont get to much rain or some one will get a bit wet;).
    ps

What a day, someone hit 50 ex 50 on the clays first time ever and you two hit 46 ex 50, I must be getting soft.

    Thanks again Sean

They had a small amount of input from me before setting it up. Although I had not had the time to follow up with the actuall target placements. Good luck guys, and as has been said, this venue will only ever get better with time and more input from experienced shooters.

    Regards

    Daz
