I currently wear contact lenses to correct short sight at distance however my vision close up isn't great so when loading a pellet it's a bit blurry.

I have a pair of glasses which correct my short sight at distance and when lifted up I can see clearly when loading a pellet.

Would using glasses to shoot, then removing for loading be within the UKAHFT rules?

I believe it is as long as you load the gun before looking through the scope.
It's what I've seen other shooters do, and as far as I'm aware they have not been pulled up for it !

It does not matter what you do when you load the gun.

However, if you shoot your first target with your glasses on, then you have to shoot all subsequent targets with your glasses on.

You can't for instance shoot without glasses for the short targets and with glasses for the long targets etc

I shoot with glasses removed, but load with them on. I get in position, load pellet, remove glasses, take shot, put glasses back on.
A royal PITA but never been questioned on this.
