dont use the postcode on nefta site unless its been updated,

drive up a19 to esrick and turn right at the church, onto skip with road, it continues onto mill hill, then follow the road for a bit and keep a eye out for the shoot sign on the right

When I used my sat nav the first time I went, it tried to take take me down a tractor track off the A19 so just go to Escrick and turn back on yourself as the others have said.

Hi Ryan, booking in from 8 with the first session starting approx 9....the second session is normally shooting just before 12.

Heading North on the A19 and just as you are about to leave Escrick you will see a church (St Helens) on the left. Turn right there and continue along Skipwith road. carry on straight as Skipwith road becomes Mill Hill, carry on for approx 1.2 miles to Whinchat hall and the shoot is the next right turn.

    Thanks Chris,

I've never shot one of these before, do you shoot in both sessions or only one and can you choose which one you shoot in.

Failing that, what do people do whilst waiting for the second session to start ?

    Many thanks

    Ryan

Hi Ryan, you can choose which session you want to shoot and it's just the one session. the emphasis is on having a bit of fun and meeting like minded people. Don't worry if it feels a but 'clicky' for your first shoot as the NEFTA lot are brilliant once you get to know a few. I'm planning on getting there around 7-30 to 8 and would be happy to shoot round with you if you're a bit apprehensive:)

There's also a couple of side shoots on like sillhouettes(sp?) and the pistol course but not everyone bothers with all of it and concentrate on the course. let me know mate if you fancy shooting round and we'll arrange to meet up on sun morning.:)

    Thanks Chris,

That would be great. I've shot a couple of local HFT as part of the NW gauntlet series so not completely new, just never shot a NEFTA round.

If the offer still stands, I'd love to meet up and shoot with you.
