    Hi,
I'm trying to source a hard case for the FTP900 but I'm struggling to find one that is deep enough to take the rifle with the palm shelf attached.
What cases are you guys using?

    Also look at:

The Pelican Storm cases are another great option. They are a little bit deeper than the regular Pelican cases.

I currently use the Daystate one, it is big enough to have the Palm shelf, the big wheel fitted to a Sightron scope and a short Hugget moderator

Agree absolutely, they're by far the best cases out there.

My ISP with a high riser and big sidewheel fits inside the Storm iM3200 with ease, I'm fairly confident that these are the deepest rifle cases I've seen. The FTP is a bit longer than the ISP so may require the iM3300. They're not cheap but they are indestructible.

Thanks everyone for your responses . I'll look into the Im3300 and see what price I can get it for.
    Cheers,

Just splitting hairs really, but the Peli is more destructible than the Storm. However the latch system and the slight bit more depth and indeed length of the Stirm are a bonus. The Prli does have better wheels though.
I have a Peli 1720, it's been used quite regularly (numerous times per year) on airlines since 2010 when I bought it new. Never had an issue with zero or external damage to the case. It did once come back from a trip with the purge air release valve missing; hazarding a guess due to a pr1ck in baggage handling who used a screwdriver to prize it off. Peli sent me a brand new valve free of charge.

My Daystate case seems perfect for the FTP900, my Mk4is is feeling somewhat homeless :-/

I have purchased two of the above for my TX HFT & FT rigs, excellent quality and construction, this model is also extra deep providing more than adequate protection. Not cheap by any means but, you get what you pay for.
    Recommended without hesitation.
