How much heavier is it than the pro target ?
It's a nice weight and balance in standard trim.

Thought about a stock for it but to be honest the standard ones really good.

its heavier than my pro target, but I think its all in the action not the stock, but if I can not get on with it it will have to go.

    Awkward mate....
if it was the stock there are things you can do, new stock etc, lighter hook and so on, if the problem is the weight of the action though and it's not for you...that is a REAL problem.

CRIKEY... you must be really put off by the weight ?

My Pro Target rig weighs in at around 14lbs, not sure how the scoped FTP compares.

Dave, I know someone who might be tempted if you do, so drop me a line if you decide to sell.

I had the opportunity to hold one on Sunday at Greyhound.
It is heavy, but it is nicely balanced. I tried it standing and it felt very stable.

If you really feel it is gong to be too heavy for you, do let me know and I'll swap my Mk3 for it. :D  :)

OK. :eek:o But you've got to admit that it was worth a try :D :D
If I had one I certainly wouldn't want to let go of it - having seen the one that I did on Sunday.
But you have a lot more experience and obviously know what will, or won't, work for you.

    ATB, however it works out.

Well I shot young Jacks and I found his ok, a nicely balanced gun. Now my ripper is heavy but the 900 is a very nice gun.
