    That's brill. I love it.

I'd love to see the lads in Gimpies throwing their £3k FT rigs on the ground in between shots. I'm not sure about the Kettlebell.

The FT/HFT lads would be better with ...

" HIT ... Eat the burger ... Well done ... pick up the rifle ... HIT ... Eat the burger ... "

Yeh, I'm not actually sure why they're shooting prone in combat gear, it's probably the least used of the positions... and that camo is a bit of a fashion statement isn't it? I mean if you wanted to blend in you'd either be in the rough to the sides, or in tan a camo.

To me that looks like something for COD players :D

Just to clarify what we are looking at so far in terms of the Target Sprint vs. HFT proposed event.....

A few of us HFT shooters have thrown down the gauntlet in a light-hearted way and challenged the Target Sprint GB Admin/Organisational guys to a team race - we are NOT proposing a race against any of the athletes that form the Target Sprint GB squad; all three of us HFT gentlemen are of “substantial and robust build” and we'd therefore get completely slaughtered if we were to go up against the pros! Instead, we have suggested the following format/rules:

    · That the Target Sprint GB team comprises 3 members of similar stature - anything less than 18 stone will be considered unsporting or possibly even contrary to the rules of the “Target Sprint Super Heavyweight category”. Also, as young children and persons of a nervous disposition might be present on the day that this race is held, the wearing of Lycra or similar fabric is strictly forbidden.

    · Each team member runs 1 lap of the track and then shoots 5 targets, before handing over to his/her team-mate; to put it bluntly, we feel that it could end very badly if any of the HFT team attempted to run the normal 3 laps!

    · The race be run at one of next year’s Target Sprint national series meetings, where we could encourage donations from those attending for whichever charity is chosen, in addition to any monies raised by way of sponsorship prior to the event.

    · In recognition of Air Arms’ support of both Target Sprint and HFT, may we suggest that all monies raised from this race go to a charity chosen by Claire West. It has already been suggested that it might be an air ambulance charity as, given the current levels of physical fitness within the HFT team, having those guys on stand-by might be no bad thing….

Please be under no illusion that the HFT team are taking this grudge match very seriously; already Gary Chillingworth has recorded a sub-10 minute time for his lap during only his first weekend of training, whilst Paul Relf has indicated that he feels confident enough to tackle his ramble without the need to drag round an oxygen cylinder behind him. Furthermore, we are having very positive discussions with a potential team sponsor, although admittedly quite how to fit on their lengthy slogan (“Carlsberg Special Brew – so much more than just a breakfast drink!”) onto our team shirts remains a question as yet unanswered.

This is purely a fun event to help raise money for a worthy cause, and if the FT community would like to field a team of 3 shooters (no-one under 18 stone, mind you!), that would be great - the more the merrier and the more money we can hopefully raise :)

Sounds good though you do realise that it's one lap at a time with a breather to shoot so more than doable even by 18st. porkies....:D

The venue and date are still to be confirmed, Rob - but we're looking at staging this charity event during one of next year's Target Sprint National Series rounds.

Target Sprint GB have yet to finalise their 2019 calendar of meetings, so we'll get everyone posted as to a date, etc. as soon as we hear from them.
