Sponsored by FT Monki and Rangesports, who have provided us with the superb team clothing this year. Between the two of them we have some really stunning looking gear. FT Monki will be launching their shooting accessories soon, and Rangesports are specialists in bespoke branded clothing.

    Here's the EFTA squad ;

    John Costello
    Andy Calpin
    James Osborne
    Rob Farnworth
    James Woodhead
    Steve Page
    Sarah England
    Jonathan Noon

For those that are curious, the team was selected over the GP season, shoots 1-8, no dropped scores, irrespective of grade from those entered.

Just a quick mention about who FT Monki are, as we all know Rangesports are fine purveyors of bespoke branded clothing...(they produced the EFTA kit, and FT Monki designed it)

FT Monki is in early days but they are soon to release their range of FT soft Boxes. They're headed by Chris Large (aka TeamZ), who is well known on the FT circuit for his FT Review electronic magazine and also as the Guiness World Record Holder for the most amount of shots fired over 8 hours...

They will be the ultimate FT rifle case, large enough to take almost all rifles, but light enough to carry round a course. They have dual zips, a waterproof gortex outer with 2 inch deep egg shell foam inner. In addition to this they have 10mm high density foam sidewalls to give extra support and protection to the very best FT rigs. They also have a large side pocket. At the minute they will be available in black, Burgundy and Dark Navy.

The FT Monki brand will also be doing some club gear for Dowry Hill FT and also working to promote FT in a number of other exciting ways.

Which reminds me, when's the next issue Chris?

Cracking logo great concept but why use gortex?? Seems an odd choice as there must be cheaper and harder wearing fabrics that would work better.

    HI Charlie,

Its a very tough material, like the old gun gear bags of days gone. It will do the job very well indeed, the actual stuff is called New weave single nylon.

The first batch is in production now, they will be a few weeks until delivery. Prices to be announced soon, but remember quality will last.

    Cheers

    Chris :)

Also, massive to Dave at Rangesports for the help with the Team England kit, couldn't have helped the lads and lasses out without him.

Just love that logo, Chris :D

Will there be branded clothing available or just accessories?

    Alan.

Look forward to seeing these bags Chris, I could do with a really big one to cart my FT rig around a course!

    Hi Alan,

Early days at the minute, costing me a fortune!! We are concentrating on the FT bags (these are not in competition with any of the other smaller type bags) as there is a massive lack of options available to the FT shooter in this category. I will be getting some club clothing done for my club to see how it looks, but it may well be an option for other people, I need to speak to the people who I would like to do them to sort this out, before making any commitment.

Cheers all and thanks for the feedback.

    Chris
