Some months ago I heralded that Shebbear would be hosting a training course to bring you up to the level of club instructor.

The date has now been set for June 29th and 30th, and there are a few places still available. You'll spend two days split partly theory partly practical, not only to enhance your own shooting but also to show you how to give instruction to others.

This will be the fourth course we've put on, all the others have been well appreciated and there are a few contributors on here who attended the first one back in 2003 and have gone on to make names for themselves on the GP circuit.

The cost per person will be around £75 a head, covering all the tuition, paperwork, certification, mid-day meals both days, tea and coffee etc. Final cost depends on actual numbers attending. Plenty of space at our club field for anyone who wants to camp overnight, tent or motorhome. If you want B and B at the pub or on a farm, that is also on the cards, prices range from £20 to £40 a night.

You get a certificate from the NSRA confirming the qualification and it lasts for five years. You can then renew for a tenner. And you get first class instruction from a well known county coach.

If you want to put your name down can you please email me - rich@ex21.eclipse.co.uk - rather than PM on here.
