    Hi

Can someone tell me please if a shooter in A grade gets the best overall score over a series, does he win AA grade or does he just win A grade and a lower scoring AA shooter wins AA grade.

I have no idea of FT so be gentle with me please.

Dont think its ever happened but they would win A grade.......Suppose someone may be accused of banditing in that case though:D
Also a shooter can opt to shoot in a higher grade if they think they are capable

Yup, spot on Dave, as you know i won "B" grade last season and i do believe my scores would have won "A" grade too but i only received the trophy for "B" my percentages where enough to skip "A" grade and im competing in "AA" this coming season (gawd help me :eek:o ) oh and yes there where cry's of ringer, bandit etc despite it being my first ever season shooting the nationals

Many thanks Dave and Paul ... and very well done Paul.

Interesting that you can choose to shoot in a higher grade if you wish to.

Can recoil shooters choose to shoot in the other grades or do they have to shoot in recoil?

The best person to ask would be Simon Evans. Piston shooters now have a special grade attached to them so their normal grades aren't pulled down by shooting a harder discipline which could lead to some thinking they are ringers despite them having no intention of reducing their grade or any mechanism to avoid it.

Only time that I can remember:

    Scottish GP 2009.

Andrew Luckley scored 47 to win A grade, AA was won with 46.

Andrew tragically died in a climbing accident
