    Dear All,

The AFFT (French Field Target Association) will organize in 2015 an International Open in Savoy

To enable all our neighbors interested to participate without abandoning their Championship
Our question : What would be the best date for you between mid-June / July / August ?? The place is situated at 1300m above sea level, it would be wiser not to consider before these periods.

I attached some pictures of the site where we plan to shoot (much better than Millau Dario & Miguel !!), which we have already tested a course few weeks ago

Restaurant at the zeroing aera (able to accept 150 persons !), many possibilities for Cottages / Bed & Breakfast all around.

Shooting aera for 2015 (pictures from my Friend Jacky : https://plus.google.com/photos/103807100254784267239/albums/6051813942893214417 )

The Alpine region is a beautiful area where tourism is highlighted, so feel free to join us in France, to train for Field Target for a future European Championship or a World Championship in 2015 !!

This was raised in the WFTF forum for announcement.

I've already mentioned the Euskadi shoot next year, but I bet a few wouldn't mind a wander over for this even if it clashes with a GP... Jesus from Euskadi says they've been in close touch, so i think a lot of the ground work would be covered.

From memory, Grenoble is about 600 miles from Calais... so considering roads in the area get slower, I'd say a 2 day drive should do it. Poole ferries go to Cherbourg. Or fly to Lyon and hire a car... but either way the area is well worth a blast around. Route Napoleon into Nice, few laps of Monaco, drop a few at the Casino... fill up with vino, pop in to say hi to Moaning Lisa en Paris, job done.

I'd be great if the French Open would run just before/after the European Championships 2015 in Euskadi, beginning of July!
Lot of Italians would join on the way, the venue is very close to the Italian border.

I can't see June, but Easyjet are doing to Lyon for £35 each way in May from Gatwick. Obviously the guns are going to cost on top, and you'd need a car, because Savoy would be a bit of a walk... but hey, on the shores of the French Alps, summer, bit of FT...

As I have to plan my shooting a year in advance, is there any idea on the 2016 Date for this event please?
