floating barrel

    Hi all,
    Can anyone tell me the true advantage of having a barrel floated or not.

    What Rifle is it? IE MK1 EV, MK2 EV, Mk3 EV yes float barrel because of macheining tolernces not to good,
    MK4 EV Excellent not seen 1 yet that need s floating

    Distortion on stock or air tube due to temp or pressure changes can drag the barrel with it.
