Well finally after 13 months of ownership of the S & B FT and 10 months after giving it back and having no refund or scope( refused it returned) and numerous calls to S & B via the sportsman gun centre I now have a 12.5 x 50 PM11 in my hands as a replacement. It will parralex to 10 yards on 50 mag. Now this thing looks the beast and overall feels more quality than the FT, plus the FT sunshade and sidewheel fit as a bonus, glad I kept them back now.
So guys push for replacements if your not happy through your supplier, Big thanks to Andy at the sportsman for all the calls to S & B some were quite funny to listen to when he did not mince his words and got the job done, and a big POO to York Guns who refused to return calls to the sportsman hence why we took direct route.

I'm glad you finally got a result Chris and I hope it opens the flood gates for all the other people who have been let down so badly by S&B.

    All the best

    Alec.

Please let me know how you get on , as over the weekend i had a large optical shift due the bright light conditions at Newbury, and not using my rubber eye peice any target over 40yards came up as 60 yards Plus. With the rubber eye peice on it was fine again:(

I always use the sunshade and rubber eye piece on all my scope year round so hopefully should not have any problem... The main problem I have now though is lack of FT rifle ,now where did i put that s400...

    Nice scopes

    Chris,

Im glad it has finally come through for you fella.

I am sure you will be happy with the new S&B, I tried a 25 mag of Mr Ord's before and was amazed how good that was for 25mag.

Hope all is well your end fella and catch up soon...

    Hi Charlie,
Do you mean impressively narrow? (ie- excellent range finding?)

    Hi Alec

Yes very narrow indeed possibly as narrow as anything I've looked down. I had a mk3 Nikko briefly which had really excellent clarity in Nikko terms but was no where near as narrow dof as the Sightron. Early days with the Sightron but initial signs look promising. No idea on temp shift as yet.

Glad you got it sorted Chris. All you have to do now is get your back better, buy a new FT gun and you will be back in business ...... you have until 27th Feb, the start of the SWEFTA League for 2011.

    Good Luck ;)
