    Hi everyone.
I saw you wanted some pictures from events outside UK so I send you some from
a competition this weekend in Onsala outside Gothenburg.
As our FAC limit is 10 J, so we have a lot of different classes to shoot.
When FT started in Sweden all where shooting 45 J then we became members of
WFTF and the 16J classes where added. So today we shoot the following classes.
Debutant 10J (pcp or springer together you can do this for 1 year to try and you always are joined with exp. shooter. And you get 1 p for face plate and 2 points for knock over.

    10 J pcp
    10 J springer
    16,3 J pcp
    16,3 J springer
    45 J springer and pcp
And then there are the junior class of course 10J.

To build a course that fits all classes are difficult but the guys who do it do a great job.
We also in most times shoot 30 target course because many shooters wants to shoot different guns.
So you can shoot 1 class in morning session and a different class in the afternoon.
Just want to explain or someone is thinking what .... are they shooting in Sweden!

So on the pictures you will see many different kind of guns.
Pictures taken by Kent Nilsson a fellow shooter .

Take care and I hope to meet some of you in Poland.

    //Stefan

Yes the area with forrest and gigant boulders from the ice age is realy nice but
very tricky to read the wind.

I saw that some pictures have rotated after I posted them can someone rotate them
to the correct position? I haven't got a clue how to do this.

    Very nice pictures.
One question, you shoot the same targets also with 45J (.22 I assume)?
If so, don’t they suffer a lot from the huge impact? I can imagine that a Gamo target for example would break down after a while.
    Regards,
    Rob

Great pics and a lovely course. Looks like a few FWB300 there; must be perfect for the 10J class!

Well it is both ,177 and ,22
In the last 3 years most shooters have joined the 16,3 J class and there are only a couple left that shoot
in 45 J. And some shoot springers in 17J +
But you are right the targets got pretty damaged in the old days.
We always change all linkage and bolts on the Gamos before putting them out on the course.
Otherwise it will just be scrap after a while.

Superb photos, I am so pleased that the sport we started here in the UK called field target shooting in the early 1980 , s is becoming so popular in your country of Sweden and many other country's like Switzerland across Scandinavia and a cross the world.it fills me with pride that others can know what a great sport for all ages and sexes it is. Enjoy your shooting.
