Thanks to Farcoley for hosting the third round of the MFTA Winter league.
Quite a strong mist / fog effected shoot made range finding tough.
A very light changeable breeze was there all day.
None of which effected Jimmy Osbourne who put in top score of 40 ex 40. Well done youth..:D
Daz Tomes top from a.m session with another excellent 39.
Top spring gun was John Amos who carded 37.. Mega!:)
Silhouettes top score was Jimmy with 17 x 20.. Good day youth!...:)

Golden shot winners..1st John Jenkins 2nd Michael Lloyd 3rd Vic Stewart.

    See you all at Greyhound,

    Gilly,:)

Echo the above, very enjoyable course, I set off like a steam train, realised how well I was doing after 10 lanes then the obvious happened! Thanks to Val & Andy for the company, thanks to Neil Thorneycroft for the course and to all for again making us NEFTA boys welcome.

Thanks to all who turned up to shoot today. Sorry about the fog...but at least it stayed dry for us. Thanks to Sam for the booking in, and thanks to Nick Murphy for being a great shooting partner. It was great to see so many NEFTA guys today, hope you enjoyed it. And a big thanks for helping pack away, you know who you are. ...appreciated. Neil.

Good effort Far Coley crew all it needed was some wind or a breeze.
Well done Jimmy on the clearance.

Target 40, whats the problem 8 shot beforehand with 2 misses on top of each other. Not going to mention what Jim said suffice to say swings and roundabouts cant have it both ways.

I threw against Dennis Priestly in 1994 and finished him off with a 157............I reckon this FT game is harder !

    P.s .....target 40 ?

    p.s.......target 40 ? :D[/QUOTE]

Hehe I mentioned target 40 as every shoot I like to bring away with me At least one positive if possible and today it was target 40 . When I and my partner Phil came to shoot target 40 this morning we could not see it at all , and finally saw a shape next to a tree that came and went . I guessed it was 40 -55 yards , and dead chuffed when it went down my positive for the day :D . Phil said it was " like a target with a bag over it " it just made the day more entertaining xx
