Shotgun start at 9am first session. Top field will be used for parking so drive past the shed and through the gate. There is room for some cars on the hard standing below the shed. Field will still be a bit wet so be careful. Neil.

We have been in touch with the flyers and they don't want us to use the top field, so a change of plan to the bottom field for parking. There will be gins up. Neil.

Please note that the field we are using for parking is still a bit wet, please be careful when turning into it, there will be some parking by the shed for about 6/7 cars, and the hard standing below for another 12/15 cars if you park sensibly. See you all Sunday. Neil.

Just got back from putting the course out, the field is very wet and I would suggest people not to use it unless you have a 4 wheel drive vehicle and are confident in getting back out. If people are sensible there will room enough for parking by the shed, hardstanding below the shed and down by the bales. Most of the lads turning up early don't mind being blocked in as they will be there until the end. Silhouettes and plinking range will be in the bottom field as the flyers don't want us to use the top field. Neil.

    Wind

Good news was no snow, bad news was rainall day and very muddy.

Good news was very testing course where even short - average full kills needed to be well out of kill, in what seemed a breeze and you would expect to be inside edge?

Bit of a boob with t7 and not sure whats being done about that (about 57/58y?) but well done to Daz Tomes on hitting it and 27 others.

I must be a lucky mascot for Mfta shooters!

Cant say i thaught i would see it but,

Gilly was pumped by Fisher today, for which Gilly blames me, and i blame Gilly. Fancy laughing at me missing the 15ml then missing it yourself. least i hit the kast target!
Now where's that money you owe me Fishface for putting Gilly off lol:D

Gp2 @ Farcoley will be a different result;)

Cracking shooting from James O and Daz Tomes for their 28s, and Ian for his 27. My sincere apologies for target number 7 which was 58 yards, totally my fault as I honestly thought it was 55 and would never intentionally put a target over distance. Thanks to all who turned out in the wet conditions. That tricky wind caught a few shooters out today, including me. I only missed 1 over the pond, but it was those 35-45 yarders that needed much more wind than I was giving them that did me. Hope you all enjoyed the course. Neil.

Thanks to Far Coley today, good shoot despite the water.

Big thanks to Marc and Andrew for giving me a chance at the final round:D

Photos going up soon on a photo thread but in the mean time a couple attached.

One for Tool and one that perhaps needs a caption.

Eventually got home after a detour via Greyhound as I needed a pee.
Enjoyed the course and shooting round with Kev and Bobby. Thanks for putting up with me.:D
My first MFTA Winter league shoot and a few were surprised to see me there without Craig.
Missed a few but was happy with the end score.
Nice to see a few old mates today.
Thanks Neil, Will and all the team
