Me Phil Glover and Phil Orme have spent most of today up the club preparing for the final round of the MFTA Winter league this Sunday. A few trees down which will be cleared tomorrow. Things are looking ok at the moment with a re-designed course which will be different from the previous shoot. But still not the course I really wanted, the wood is just too wet to shoot out of. We have tried to place the firing line and gates in the driest possible areas, and we have managed to use a few different angles to make it different from last time, half the course is designed and targets have been preliminary placed ready for Sunday. Weather not looking too bad.

A few of us will be up there tomorrow to finish off. Let's hope it stays dry.

    See you all on Sunday.

    Neil.

Well, the course is out and ready for tomorrow. We have managed to get some catering for day, so leave your butties at home. The course is somewhat different and I'm sure some of you will enjoy the different target possitions. We have done the best we can with lane placement and tried to keep the gates in as dry as possible possition so as not to get too muddy.

I don't think I will be shooting tomorrow as I am shattered and have put my back out sliding down a bank and rolling over backwards.

Please be mindfull when parking and utilise the space we have available. There is room on the track and down by the bails on the corner.

    See you tomorrow. Neil.

Yes Steve, 2 sessions mate. First session will kick off at 9am prompt. As soon as the first session is finished....usually around 11.30am there will be a brief break to spray the targets which is usually around 15 mins, then short briefing for the later session which should start around 12midday.

Be nice to see you if you can make it.

    Neil.

Expected that from you Jack, more interested in filling your face than fellow shooters welfare.:D:D

I will see how I feel in the morning, just got out of a hot soak in the bath and sprayed half a can of deep heat on it.

    See you tomorrow mate.

    Neil.

At your age, deep heat will do it no good at all.
Spray the deep heat on your back instead. :D
