A big thanks to all the peole at Far Coley today - very tricky wind in the morning and lots worse in the afternoon :)

Excellent courses and food + nice to see some of the Midland lads before the winter leagues kick off.

Well done to Neal Marklew - some excellent shooting in both rounds.

    Dave.

Great fun, despite shooting like a twonk!
How did you book that rain to fall for the exact duration it took you to prepare the second course.
Your hard work was much appreciated.
    cheers

p.s. James seems springers are shite at mini-kills though...lol

I am afraid to say that I cannot blame the spring gun, I don't think anyone has the time for the reasons I did miss the mini kills (come to that they probably don't care either), but next time out, be afraid, be very afraid:D

And I'll get in first, my Mum thrashed me on them:eek:

some of those mini-kills would have been a challenge on a normal day but given the wind on Sunday I was happy to come off the course with just over 50% :)

Its been a while since I managed to miss 7 shots in a row but I don't think I was alone ;)

    Dave.

One of the targets was in the middle of the lake - floating on a car tyre. You had to contend with the horrendous wind and the gentle bob, bob, bob of the waves

Not really an excuse - but an insight into the many misses that occured :D

Thought you shot pretty well Dave.

Heres one for you Rob, best score of the afternoon by far missed 13 out of 40, well done birthday boy it was an achievement hitting the plate above 43 yards yet alone a small kill.

I put a gripe in at Falcon today the thick part of the 2nd FP mildot ret got in the way above 43 yards.

    Neale hows about some scores:D

Neale - you may want to check John Sears score - a 36 in the morning was some mighty good shooting ;)

I believe Ian Cox's score for the first round is incorrect, I seem to recall he scored 19 not 9, proably just a typo.
    Cheers
