As most of you know, Far Coley are holding a Winter League tomorrow as Purley have had to cancel. The course is out and is somewhat different from our previous Winter League shoot, but it's still not the course I had planned due to the short notice and rallying the troops to do it all, it's the best we could do. I have tried to contact Jackie who did the catering for us last time, but had no success so far, so take it as there will be NO CATERING/BURGER VAN for tomorrow. Bring your own butties. The silhouettes have been placed between lanes in the wood as the far field is just way too wet to put them or the plinking range in. We have done the best we can with the time we had to do it so please bear this in mind when shooting tomorrow. Neil.

I would like to express my thanks and appreciation to you and your team at Far Coley for picking up this challenge and for doing all that you can in ensuring that the shooters of MFTA have an event tomorrow. It is a fantastic effort and your communications have been brilliant advising of what we can expect.

All shooters should express their gratitude. That said, there will be a public flogging by the committee of any shooter who makes any expression of dissatisfaction, and that includes any reference to the famous Far Coley breeze.

    Well done Far Coley

Thanks for the appreciation guys, I tried to get some catering but my efforts failed.
Thanks to Big Phil, Daz Tomes, Ian Stoddart and Steve Lloyd for help getting it all done.

See you tomorrow, the forecast is not too bad.

    Neil.

No leather, just tight lycra. You know what I mean.

We obviously share a twisted sense of the macabre. My first thought was 'public ?????' :D

I had considered coming to shoot.

I have now changed my mind. I'll just spectate.
Public floggings of various dissident individuals, plus Val S dressed in tights, is likely to induce such excitement that I would never hit even one target, let alone perform to my normal levels of ineptitude. ;)

Much gratitude Neil and your star team, for making it happen at such short notice.
