Are there any aftermarket ones that utilize the top fixing screw rather than grub screws on the spline? Or should I just learn to read the click numbers? I'm specifically looking at the model with the MRAD knob, not the 1/8 MOA.

On a Bushnell I had there was a turret where I marked yardages. Is there an advantage to a click chart for some reason? What do most of you use?

    Thanks,
    Casey

I mark both sidewheel and turret in yards, I think people who use click chart's dont want a fellow competiter to know what distance they have ranged and dialled, :)

As far as I know there are no aftermarket turrets for the Falcon that utilise the central screw. There is the one that Rowan make that clamps via grub screws.

I find that using the MRad clicks is pretty easy in that the turret is marked in 0.5 MRad increments so 60 clicks is marked as 3.0 on the dial, 30 as 1.5, 10 as 0.5 etc. It's much easier than the usual 1/8 MOA where you need to remember your 8 times table :)

I found I needed a large turret on my big Nikko to mark the yardage on but I haven't needed or bothered with it for the T50.

    Hi Casey:
I have made a sleeve, that enlarge the original turret (3.3cm diameter). With the sleeve right size, you also get a zero stop!;)

    Best regards from Portugal,

Sorry if this is off topic , but i am thinking of buying a t50 & wondered what they are like particularly when range finding 50-55 yds. I have a sidewinder 30 8-32x56 at the moment and struggle at these ranges, thanks

    Hi Nick,
I'm also considering buying the T50 to replace my Sidewinder 30 (8-32x56). Did you manage to test one of these? Also do you now how it compares to the Big Nikko?

    Thanks

If your a new shooter, i would recomend the nikko over the t50.

I find them about on par with each other, depending on quality of the nikko?
Have seen very poor nikkos, but also very good.
T50 seem to be the same from scope to scope from what i have seen & used.

This is the Side wheel and Turret cover that Jon made for me, but to fit the turret cover I had to remove the original place the insert onto the turret and then fit the outer cover via 3 grub screws.
As for the T50 it is ok but as Simon can tell you I have had trouble paralaxing, for no reason other than it did not want to play on that day. It would not range find over 35 yards this was on a comp, then after approx 25 targets it started working again, I have now replaced it with a Custom Shop I no longer use it.
