Excess Time in McDonalds

    Be careful when meeting @ Mc Donalds these day's

    As it seems they have brought in Met Parking Services - to Control Access Time to their Car Parks

    Seems you are Allowed only 75 Minutes in a Car Park - After that you can be fined £50.00
    Clamped or towed Away -
    They are using Cameras with Vehicle Idification to time you in and out

    Got done @ the Enfield Branch - Earlier this month

    On my visit to check out - there is Warning Signs - Not notice on my Offending Visit

    Complained to McDondalds - Who reply was Car parking spaces are limited.......

    And Local Trading Standards - it's Legal..........

    Only had a Drink - was a meet with a customer - who wanted some pellets
    Thought it was a ideal half way location :eek:

    And anyone that knows Darren Philips are well aware how he can talk...............

    Should have gone next door to Sainsbury's - they Allow 3 Hours and only Fine you £15.00

    That's doubled me up here bob!

    Even I've never got a fine for overstaying in McDonalds before!:p

    I am sure on my visit begining of month Signs was not up

    But certianly are now ...........

    According the Met Parking Services - Web site they have just taken on another 40 locations :eek:

    Lakeside used to allow you to land your helicopter if you phoned ahead...

    Passed a few in recent day's

    Seems it is more often to be Controled if a Shared Car Park against one where they have sole right to
