A question for any EV2 owners out there.
Whilst cleaning my EV mk2 last night, I dry fired it a couple of times with the stock removed and noticed it was venting air from the underside of the trigger block just behind the reg.
    Is this normal?
    Thanks

Are you sure it was venting air from the compressed side of the system ? Could it just have been the air in front of the hammer being displaced as the hammer flies forwards??

You will probably lose a tough of air down the sides of the firing valve too as this cant be a perfect seal

Quite normal...on mk2's one of the hamster posts is located right underneath where this air comes from.. when i made some new longer posts for mine i was advised to make them hollow to allow for this...Dont know the technical reason for this exhaust type thing but know it is normal
