Will an Air Arms EV2 MK4 stock fit on to an EV2 MK2 action without modifications.

    Different hamster

    What about the hamster jack?
Mk2 is two 10mm posts and I believe the mk4 is a single thicker post.

    In letting

    Simon,

I'm not sure but think the mk4 stocks had the 2 holes inletted into the bottom of the stock.

The difference if I'm correct is in the actions, as the mk2/3 was machined to have the extra piece to clamp the hamster into place..

The mk4 I believe it's clamped on the hamster post itself...??

    Casper,

Check under the stock as not sure if you can use the hamster off a mk4 stock on to the mk2 action..

I'll follow up on your comments and bottom out the hamster issue. I hope it will be simple but if mods are required there is always a fix.

Only if you machine out the underside of the breach block.

The Mk2 action will slip into the 4 stock easily, but without machining you won't be able to use the AA hamster. I threw it in the cupboard and bought a TEC; any after market hamster or raiser that fits to the under-rail will work :)
