Hi i'm looking for a delrin spacer to use on my EV2 MK4

The hamster is on a ball joint and can move when its not required to move :(

So does anyone know who could machine me a spacer (tube) out of delrin/nylon that fits over the hamster post and is a flush fit between the stock and hamster - to stop the hamster from moving on its ball joint?

    Cheers
    Daz

Mark - i received the spacer today mate!!

Have just fitted the spacer to the hamster post and its a perfect fit!

With the spacer fitted i refitted the hamster and tightened the hamster post bolt and then tried to move the hamster itself...........

    It doesn't move at all!!!

There is no tilt or movement from the hamster ball joint at all :D

Brilliantly simple idea - and it works a treat!!!

A very big thank you to Mark for making the spacer for me!

I'll try and put some pics up in a bit......

    Cheers

    Yep - brilliantly simple idea!

    Nice work by Mark too!!

You do have to push the hamster up towards the stock before tightening the post bolt to make sure any slack is removed. But its only around 1mm, that ensures that the spacer is flush against the ball joint housing and the bottom of the stock.
